On today’s episode, Jason tells us he wouldn’t be surprised to Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs run the table and finish the regular season 16-0. Have you seen their schedule? It’s not exactly a Murderer’s Row. Now, there are two things that could derail their perfect season (which Jason lays out very eloquently), but if the Chiefs are locked in 16-0 is absolutely in play. Later, Producer Rob joins the show to take a small victory lap after Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers rolled to yet another victory, and the guys wonder aloud why Rodgers still doesn’t get the respect he deserves. Jason also shares his thoughts on the Houston Texans’ decision to fire head coach and general manager Bill O’Brien. The Texans are 0-4 so the decision to axe O’Brien shouldn’t come as much of a surprise – and neither should the fact that another Bill Belichick disciple flamed out. But, even though Houston has a franchise quarterback in place in Deshaun Watson, don’t expect the best candidates to come beating down the door to become the Texans head coach. In fact, Jason argues that the soon-to-be vacant New York Jets head coaching job is actually more desirable. Finally, Jason closes out the show with a bang as he unveils the Tuesday NBA Finals Game 4 edition of The Best Bet.
