On today's episode, Jason and Super Producer Rob G (Robert Guerra) kick things off with a deep into the Golden State Warriors' Opening Night beatdown of the Los Angeles Lakers. While most of the talking heads will use the game as an excuse to rip the Lakers, Jason is looking for the silver lining. Every flaw we thought they had (lack of chemistry due to roster turnover, lack of overall shooting, etc.) was exposed, but we also saw a few good things they can build upon. But, no matter how you slice it, it's pretty clear that the Lakers are lightyears away from Steph Curry and the Warriors at this point. Later, J-Mac brings us a full preview of the 2022-23 NBA season, both from a purely basketball and gambling perspective. Are we sure LeBron and the Lakers will be comfortably in the playoffs? Can Giannis Antetokounmpo carry an injury-depleted Milwaukee Bucks team in the East? Is this the year Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers finally break through? Which Eastern Conference forward is a better bet to win MVP: Kevin Durant or Jayson Tatum?
