- Brown-Forman (BF/B) sees a 2% jump after a report that French beverage company, Pernod Ricard SA, is exploring a potential acquisition of the Kentucky-based owner of Jack Daniel’s whiskey, as alcoholic drink companies look at ways to consolidate amid an industry downturn.
