Today's biggest winners and losers in the stock market.

On this episode of Stock Movers:

Listen for comprehensive cross-platform coverage of the US market close as heard on Bloomberg Television, Bloomberg Radio, and YouTube with Romaine Bostick, Sally Bakewell, Carol Massar and Tim Stenovec.

- Moderna (MRNA) and Merck (MRK) shares continued to gain on investor enthusiasm over their new personalized cancer vaccine. Earlier in the week, Moderna jumped to its biggest intraday gain on record.

- Boston Beer (SAM) shares dropped in trading on Friday, after the alcoholic beverage maker announced Chief Financial Officer Diego Reynoso will be leaving the company on Sept. 14 to accept a new opportunity. Citi views Reynoso’s exit as a “meaningful loss” to the Samuel Adams maker given his key role in the company’s margin recovery program.

- Ubiquiti (UI) shares fell the most since May after the wireless-network equipment provider posted fiscal fourth-quarter gross margin that shrank from the third quarter. The margin was hurt by higher costs of components and shipping.
