Nicki Nicol: NZOC CEO on Victoria withdrawing from hosting the 2026 Commonwealth Games

In a disappointing turn of events, it was announced this morning that the Moana Pasifika Super Rugby franchise will be disbanding at the end of the Super Rugby Pacific season - barring a miracle.

It is estimated that the cost of running Moana is between $10-$12m per year and the current owners Pasifika Medical Association don't see a viable way they could meet the financial obligations next year.

Lima Sopoaga is a former All Black and Samoan international, and he joined Elliott to discuss.
