Helping Homeless Horses in the Houston Area

When it comes to animal advocacy in Houston, Kappy Muenzer is a pioneer.

As one of the founding members of Citizens for Animal Protection, she and her band of colleagues forever changed the way Houston adopts and cares for homeless animals. 

From adoption processes and feral cat assistance to humane legislation, Kappy's dedication to the animals continues to this day.

During this conversation, we talk about CAP's humble beginnings--including but not limited to hosting adoption events out of her garage, as well as policy wins during her time in the Texas Humane Legislation Network.
