At 28, Sam Pang was working in a bottle shop with little idea of what would come next. Now, at 52, the reigning Gold Logie winner says that the late career start has made him more selective about the jobs he takes and the people he works with.

As Sam Pang Tonight returns for its third season, Sam joins Sarrah Le Marquand to discuss what winning Gold really means to him, his verdict on Robert Irwin’s hosting debut and why he is happy to interview others… but finds it so difficult to sit down and talk about himself.

Plus, he reflects on the career moments his younger self would never have believed lay ahead.
