In this new series, we’re focusing on the Fruit of the Spirit.

Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,  gentleness and self-control.

Each week, we'll settle into one specific aspect of the fruit. This week, it's all about LOVE. Dive into 1 Corinthians 13, the iconic love passage, and let its truths sink deep into your heart. Love is patient, kind, bears no envy, and keeps no record of wrongs. How can we embody these qualities? 🤔

In the guided Scripture meditation, you’ll be invited to create space to let the Spirit guide you into what he wants you to notice about love. And then you will have space to talk to him about whatever he’s revealing to you.

Slow down, take a few deep breaths, and let God remind you of his love as he invites you to be more loving.

The meditation text is:

1 Corinthians 13:1–7, NIV

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
