Today - we’re taking a look at a naturalization ceremony held in Cashmere, on September 11, 2024. This Patriot Day marked the 23rd anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, and 30 individuals from eight countries took the Oath of Allegiance, officially becoming U.S. citizens. 

And later - As climate change and drought worsen, the threat of catastrophic wildfires continues to grow, destroying homes and vital old-growth forests. In Washington state alone, we’ve lost around 100,000 acres of old-growth forest to wildfires.
