Oh, Sey, can you speak?  Apparently, Jen Sey could not speak freely AND keep her high-profile job at Levi's.  Something had to give.  But as she tells Michele, Sey did not give in.  Instead, she resigned from Levi's, and her decision has made her even more powerful.
