He also wrote "The Condemnation of Blackness: Race, Crime, and the Making of Modern Urban America." He joins Kate and Oliver this week to share what he teaches in his courses, the history of systemic racism in America, slavery, how literature and statistics were used to push narratives, where we go from here and much more.
