Episode 47 - Celebrating Talent in the City

First up, Andrea talks with rock and roll legends - Vicki Peterson and John Cowsill, who will be performing at the Des Plaines Theatre on March 6th, along with the Smithereens! Vicki co-founded the Bangles and went on to chart topping success in the 80’s, 90’s and beyond and John has played with his family’s band – the Cowsill’s for decades. Now, this husband and wife duo have merged music, sounds and melodies and are touring the country attracting generations of fans!  March 6th, Des Plaines Theatre. Next up, we visit with Malcom Young with the Sons of Cream, coming to the Arcada Theatre in St. Charles on March 8th.  Malcom (Jack Bruce’s son) and Kofi Baker (Ginger’s son) are touring the country performing the music of the legendary rock band Cream on their “Half and Half” tour!  Malcom talks about performing in Chicago, having Ron Onesti make him pasta, and 60 years of rock and roll!
