First up, the Illinois Conservatory for the Arts reunites the original Broadway Queens from smash hit musical Six in: “The Royal Reunion, Celebrating Six years of Six” on Monday, June 22 at the Fairlie in West Loop. Show & Tell, Ep 202: Six years of SIX-the Reunion, Randolph St. Market, Harris Theatre of Music and Dance, & the South Chicago Dance Theatre

Chicago a cappella, Chicago’s premier unaccompanied vocal ensemble is hosting the upcoming concert series Building American Pop  from April 19th-26th. Andrea talks to CAC Executive Director Matt Greenberg about this time capsule, which revisits the irresistible pop classics that evoke the songwriting genius of the Brill Building era of the 1950s and ’60s, featuring host/narrator WTTW’s Geoffrey Baer. Next up, the Chicago Jazz Orchestra will feature the music of jazz icon Roy Eldridge on May 3rd at the Studebaker Theatre.  Andrea talks to CJO Artistic Director Jeff Lindberg about this tribute show by one of the most influential trumpeters of the swing era. Then, Rogers Park’s annual Glenwood Sunday Market is fast approaching and to support the continuation of its Food Access Program, which combats food insecurity among Market shoppers, they're hosting a Spiral into Spring fundraiser on April 19th at The Rhapsody Theater from 4-7 pm.  Andrea talks to Sandi Price, Executive Director of the Rogers Park Business Alliance about what attendees can expect, including carnival games, grand prizes, and delicious dishes from local restaurants. Finally, Andrea talks to Chicago interdisciplinary artist Alison Ruttan about her large-scale exhibition at Hyde Park Art Center through July 12. Two years in the making, the exhibition is a massive installation with 160 cast ceramic forms, taking up 2300 sq. ft., and places viewers at the center of a submerged neighborhood to show the damage of global warming on coastal communities.  Information: hydeparkart.org
