This week we have been looking at the subject of natural disasters, like earthquakes, floods, cyclones, etc. Are they sent by God as a judgment on the communities that experience them? Ken Legg thinks not. He says there are four tests we must apply to that kind of reasoning and when we do that it doesn’t stack up. Today we look at the 'the spirit of Christ' test. We emphasize Jesus’ mission and reinforce the importance of proclaiming the message of salvation and understanding the potential consequences of misinterpreting God’s Word.
