Aleks Marić joined KK Partizan in 2010 and his performance earned him a spot on the All-EuroLeague First Team. Domestically, he contributed to Partizans successes, including winning the Serbian National Championship, the Radivoj Korać Cup, and the Adriatic League title.
In 2011 joined Greek club Panathinaikos B.C. In his first season, played a role in the team’s EuroLeague championship run and contributed to Panathinaikos Greek Basket League championship that season. The following year helped the team secure the Greek Basketball Cup.
Aleks represented Australia at the 2012 London Olympics and in 2019, was assistant coach with the Sydney Kings. Now in 2025, he is happily promoting the Pavlos Giankopoulus Tournament, here in Australia where for the first time ever the Sydney Kings and Adelaide 36ers take on Panathinaikos B.C. and KK Partizan across two unmissable nights.
