In May 2026, Serbia will be represented at the 70th Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, Austria by the Serbian modern metal band Lavina. The best way to characterise Lavina is, a blend of “rock and metal elements with a poetic and dramatic sensibility”. The song “Kraj Mene” was the winner of both the jury and popular votes. It received 29,759 votes in the public vote, more than twice as many as Brat Pelin‘s “Fräulein,” the runner-up song.
