Jessica Sparks lost her husband, former Cougar football player and PLU coach, Derrick Sparks to cancer, following his daughter's own battle with the disease. Derrick was inspired by his daughters battle and defeat of the disease to start a game "Cleats vs. Cancer". The game not only raises money for those struggling with the disease, but also gives high school football players one more game to play and showcase. Brett Coraline serves on the board and both describe how you can get involved and why the game means so much.
