Her first album released as an independent artist, Period is Kesha’s sixth studio album. 

With her taste for experimental pop on full display, the album is a return to Kesha’s wilder, hedonistic, “hot mess” era, filled with brash and unfiltered music. 

The popstar says her goal was for it to create a safe space for people to feel fully embodied and liberated, unfiltered, and fearless. 

Estelle Clifford joined Jack Tame to give her thoughts on the album.

Running a marathon is a task on many people's bucket lists – whether that be a half or a full. 

Some even dedicate themselves to ultramarathons – running 60 kilometres every day for 28 days. But most people don't run it in the coldest, windiest, and driest desert on Earth, enduring sub-zero temperatures and 100 kilometre winds.  

Donna Urquhart, a pain doctor, undertook that exact Herculean task, picking up a Guiness World Record for her efforts and has written a book about it – 'Life Without Limits'.  

She told Jack Tame the idea came about in 2021, when she was watching a video podcast in which Australian polar explorer Eric Phillips was talking about his expeditions in Antarctica. 

"I was just captivated by listening to him and also watching some of the footage," Urquhart explained.  

"I've always wanted to go on a big adventure ... I thought, oh wow, I wonder if you can run in Antarctica, and if so how far can we go? And that was the beginning."
