Employment Lawyer Lior Samfiru, partner at Samfiru Tumarkin LLP, alleges that people answering the phones at the Ontario Ministry of Labour helpline are misleading the public about severance pay entitlements.

His law firm has launched a lawsuit against The Ministry of Labour, on behalf of two clients who where let go, or terminated without cause, from Trillium Screw,, a manufacturing company in Durham. They were laid off in June 2012.
