As a college student, Ernesto Mireles helped pressure Michigan State University to establish a Chicano Studies program. He now teaches at Prescott College in Arizona, where he strives to create a more accepting and thriving environment for students of color.

Morénike Giwa Onaiwu writes often about her experiences as a late-diagnosed Autistic adult woman and person of color. She’s co-editor of All the Weight of Our Dreams: On Living Racialized Autism.
