Burundian President, Evariste Ndayishimiye has officially taken over as the new African Union chairperson. He succeeded Angolan President, João Lourenço. African leaders are meeting in the Ethiopian capital, Addis Ababa for the 39th ordinary session of the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the AU.
