Operations to process pedestrians and small vehicles is continuing without major challenges at the Lebombo Border Post, in Mpumalanga amid sporadic protests in Mozambique. The processing of trucks has been brought to a complete halt for safety reasons. Border Management Authority Commissioner, Dr Michael Masiapato says travellers using this port of entry significantly declined on Christmas Eve.
