ANC National Chairperson Gwede Mantashe has called for calm, urging that the court processes be allowed to unfold following the failure to submit candidate lists to the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) on time. The party has attributed the debacle to a technical glitch affecting six municipalities with the most of them in the Eastern Cape.
