The Economic Freedom Fighters, EFF have launched an urgent Constitutional Court appeal to overturn a ruling that halted the parliamentary inquiry into President Cyril Ramaphosa. The party is seeking to set aside a Western Cape High Court decision, arguing the judiciary improperly blocked the Section 89 committee from its constitutional duties. The EFF asserts that using legal action to stall the impeachment process sets a dangerous precedent for accountability. We spoke to EFF MP, Mazwi Blose.
