The fraud case against Northern Cape's acting HOD for the health department, Dr. Deon Tuys has been postponed to the 9th of June this year, for pre-trial consultation. Tuys briefly appeared in the Kimberley magistrates court today. He was arrested by the Hawks earlier this month for allegedly contravening the Public Funds Management Act pertaining lease agreements of nursing homes amounting to 96 million rand in 2014.
