A public inquiry should be held into why government adopted a policy not to prosecute hundreds of people implicated in human rights abuses at the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This is the plea of a legal representative of the family of Doctor Hoosen Haffejee, a struggle activist and dentist at a Durban hospital who died in police custody in 1977.
