A chance encounter has led to a Durban police officer helping a homeless man get back on his feet. Constable Shiven Latchman met Siyabonga Phewa while on duty earlier this month. 22-year-old Phewa has been homeless since last year and was struggling to find a job, despite having an excellent academic record.
