As you recover from that revelation, be prepared for much worse as our resident embarrister recalls a snow trip that could be an epiosde of The Golden Bachelor.

This week we turn our attention to the best and worst Aussie cop and crime shows on television. Why? Because we can and it's less stressful than watching it live in our shopping centres and streets. But the four of them have many things in common - their love of sport, their love of music and their love of chatting about that and more. Put them in a studio together and the mix is electric.

The Kangaroos may have slayed the AFLW Lions, cricketers with pink balls are poised to stampede the Gabba but the Ruck 'n Roll headline this week is the home invasion you won't read about in the papers or hear about on the nightly news.

We have the EXCLUSIVE inside story with graphic details of the invaders' entry via the bathroom window, ransacking of rooms and a full-on confrontation with the victim before fleeing via a front window.

This is the harrowing tale of Stephen (not his full name) a suburban septuagenarian set upon by a gang (for dramatic purposes two is a gang) of ... pigeons!

And you thought the dachshund story was hilarious. Wait 'til you hear this one.

On the First Day of Christmas we give to you Two Pigeons and One Goose. 

As the name of the show suggests, football is always in our thoughts and the AFL Draft and AFLW Grand Final are up for discussion, dissection and derision, as is Perth's two day hit anf giggle fest, or - as they called it - the First Ashes Test. Sprinkle in some EPL, F1 and golf then get ready for the main attraction. 

Our musical analysis is resting like a good eye fillet or a opening batsman with a dodgy back. Our attention turns to the second part of the RnR culinary expedition. The snacks have been cleared and it is time for the entrée. Let us start by affirming our stance on what an entrée actually is.    

Entrée in modern French table service - and for much of the English-speaking world - is a dish served before the main course of a meal.

There are two other definitions that may be handy as you digest this epiosde.  

Dégustation is the careful, appreciative tasting of various food, focusing on the gustatory system, the senses and high culinary art.

Disgusting is repulsive, revolting, offensive, repugnant, nauseating, abominable, and loathsome.
