David Ross and Anthony Rizzo are BACK with episode 28 of Ross & Rizzo Unfiltered where the guys preview this year’s World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and Milwaukee Brewers. These two teams were the BEST teams all season long, and this is a PERFECT World Series matchup between two small market teams who have built their teams from the ground up. The guys later react to the New York Yankees press conference featuring Aaron Boone, Brian Cashman, and Hal Steinbrenner where they talked about coming up short this season, as well as the Philadelphia Phillies President of Baseball Operations Dave Dombrowski talking about how Trea Turner needs to play better in order to remain the starting shortstop of the Phillies. The guys get into Tarik Skubal’s free agency, as well as what the Chicago Cubs need in order to make that next step towards contending for a World Series. Finally, the guys answer fan mailbag questions about all things baseball. The guys talk about what makes these two managers GREAT in Kevin Cash and Pat Murphy, what a manager has to say to all-star caliber players when they’re struggling, and how HEATED the rivalry was between the Cubs and Brewers back when Ross and Rizzo were playing.
