I think today's sinus issue is worse than yesterdays. Granted…I'm not coughing as much as I was and I'm also able to breathe through my nostrils finally. But the drainage going on from my nose is a real problem this morning.
I'm constantly blowing my nose and the tickling sensation in the upper part of my right nostril is causing my eye to constantly water…and it makes me feel like I have to sneeze every few seconds.
What a mess.
But enough about my problems!
It's Hypothetical Thursday so we asked each other some questions. Jean asked me: "If you could bring back one brand, restaurant or store that no longer exists...what would it be?"
And my question for Jean was: "Being that it's National Radio Day, what's your dream radio job...and what's the craziest thing you've ever done in radio?"
Office Cora also joined us to talk about what she's up to this weekend in the 715…and she also had a hypothetical question for us: "If you had to get rid of beef, pork, poultry, or seafood for the rest of your life...which would you choose?"
IN the news this morning, the DEA has joined the investigation into the death of Hayden Panetierre, a police helicopter in Pennsylvania crashes into a small plane and kills one person, the creepy guy in PA wearing a mask & chasing after people gets confronted by someone, more human remains are being found at Lake Mead due to the drought, possible changes to Facebook & Instagram if Meta loses a major lawsuit, and a fake babysitter in Atlanta kidnaps some children.
In sports, the Brew Crew got beat by the Mariners yesterday, Week 2 of the NFL preseason kicks off tonight with a couple of games, the Saints are going to be without Alvin Kamara for awhile, Jayden Higgins of the Houston Texans is done for the season with an injury, Vita Vea gets his contract extension, and Jack Pugh's cause of death is reveavled.
We talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight. Plus, a documentary about Dane Cook's half-brother who stole millions from the actor/comedian is coming out. A Christian death metal band is suing Netflix because of K-Pop Demon Hunters. David Krumholtz is apparently quitting Hollywood. And even though he's been dead for awhile now, Val Kilmer is going to be in an upcoming movie…thanks to A.I.
Great story about a boyfriend who lied to his girlfriend for months about training for a half-marathon. Plus, another marathon story involving a father with lung cancer and how his sons helped him compete in a recent 5k. And have you heard about the water-skiing lake in a cornfield in Wisconsin? Pretty interesting stuff.
A music promoter recently wondered what it would take for Gen-X people to start coming back out for concerts. And a comedian responded with some solid answers.
Elsewhere in sports, Azzi Fudd's rookie season is over due to an injury, Pat McAfee is going to be a part of ESPN's Monday Night Football countdown show, and a bunch of coaches at Nathan Hale High School in West Allis have either been put on leave or resigned.
And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a massive stone removed from a guy's bladder, a mail carrier in Iowa who was stealing people's Menards rebates and using them for herself, a snake that allegedly started a school fire, an unprovoked hatchet attack at a Home Depot, a #FloridaMom who bit off her husband's ear with their kids in the car, and a teacher who's going viral for her "fart corner" in her classroom.

Doc's racing report. Would you eat dog food? Our favorite sammiches. Are you making coffee incorrectly? Money in a vagina.
