Doc's racing report. Would you eat dog food? Our favorite sammiches. Are you making coffee incorrectly? Money in a vagina.

Ah, Friday. The best day of the work week. And I'm finally feeling a bit better.

Definitely NOT fully recovered, but I am much improved over yesterday & Wednesday.

In the news this morning, the FBI raided the home of former US Representative Eric Swalwell, the creepy masked man in Philly has been identified…but not caught yet, the boat captain in NY who was piloting the boat that capsized & killed a mother and her baby has been arrested by ICE agents, an updated on the Karmelo Anthony case, a bunch of gold was found on a job site in Belgium, a Wisconsin man was looking for some "hypnotists" while he was holding another man hostage at a Meijer grocery store, and another scientist who worked on the Pentagon's UFO program claims to have seen FOUR different alien species!

In sports, the Brewers beat the Mariners again yesterday to take two out of three from Seattle, a recap of last night's NFL action along with a look at the rest of this weekend's schedule for week 2 of the preseason, the Cowboys & Saints got fined by the league for fights at joint practices earlier this week, James Harden signs a new deal with the Cavs, the Lakers sale is getting a bit messy, and the NHL is playing a couple of regular season games in Germany this upcoming season.

We talked about what's on TV & streaming this weekend along with what's new in theaters. Plus, some new music getting released today…a new milestone for "The Odyssey"…and the Foo Fighters will be opening up for AC/DC in St. Louis on September 8th!

Mattel just announced it's first ever "UNO Championship" tournament where you could win $50,000!!! A dog named Milo who was missing for 72 days just won the 18th Annual "Hambone" award. A dude who was stuck in an underwater cave for 15 days gets rescued. And a cool story about a group of high-school dudes from Idaho who spent their summer helping to clean up the Boise river.

According to a recent survey about pet food, 16% of people would try their dog's food "out of sheer curiosity". Gross.

I'd rather eat a delicious sammich. Speaking of sandwiches, another recent look at Google Trends, social media, and A.I. data found out what the favorite sandwich is in every state. No surprise for WI.

Elsewhere in sports, a couple of members of the Tennessee University cycling team are killed when they're hit by a car, a girl comes out of the stands and onto the field during a recent high school football game to tackle a player, and check out this monster bear claw pretzel that's available at Soldier Field again this season.

If you make coffee at home, you might want to avoid these four "mistakes".

Doc joined us just after 8am to talk racing thanks to County Materials in Holmen & Eau Claire.

And in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a massive bear that got locked into a family's vehicle in Tennessee, a guy named "Bluntman" who got arrested for planning to distribute drugs at the Gathering of the Juggalos, a bullfighter in Spain who got a horn right in the apple bag, a pilot who tested positive for weed, and a #FloridaWoman who tried to hide a bunch of money in her vagina.
