Welcome back after a long, holiday weekend. Hopefully you had fun!

I spent some time in the hospital thanks to a diverticulitis flare-up. Yay!!!

In the news, a recall on frozen berries, the guy who got duct-taped to a seat on a plane, a couple of deaths at the Burning Man festival, a deadly crash involving an Amazon cargo plane, Andy Williams of "Every Time I Die" & AEW died over the weekend, and President Trump jokes about changing New Mexico to New America.

In sports, the Brewers had an up-and-down weekend, the Badgers got thrashed by Notre Dame, Michigan's win was the talk of the sports world, the NFL regular season kicks off tomorrow with the Pats & Seahawks and the Patriots have signed their star cornerback to a massive new contract, and speaking of contracts...Roger Goodell gets a nice extension from the league.

We talked about what's on TV & streaming today/tonight and what's new on New Release Tuesday. Plus, some sad news about Bruce Campbell. And the Wheel of Fortune officially fires their announcer.

Congrats to this guy in England who's worked at McDonald's for FIFTY years...starting out as a part-time crew member...to now owning six of his own stores. And a rescued kitten just beat the odds and made it back from the brink of death.

We cut the cord many years ago because the cost of cable kept going up & up & up...and now the cost of streaming is going up & up & up...so much that it now costs more for all the streaming apps than it does to just have cable.

Elsewhere in sports, Wimbledon is learning a lesson about influencers from the US Open, Cathy Engelbert is retiring from the WNBA, a historic women's volleyball game at Wrigley Field gets cancelled because of humidity, a Michigan State player yacked all over some opposing players, and a #FloridaMom rushes onto the field and kicks a team's player.

We talked to Grant Bilse of the Wisco Sports show just after 8am, and in today's edition of "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a spatula that came to the rescue at an In-N-Out burger, a woman in Tacoma had over 100 cats in her house, and a dude died after getting a penis enlargement surgery.
