Listeners search Jhené Aiko’s 20-track Westside Whimsy for clues about Big Sean, but Aiko says “He Belongs” is not about him and denies using the album to attack her ex. While she did say that song is not about him, she did not say anything about the other 20-songs. This is after the two broke up after a decade and a child together. Megan Thee Stallion also gets candid about her breakup with Klay Thompson, saying she felt constantly on edge, lost part of herself while trying to fit into someone else’s life, and now insists that trust, respect, independence, and equality are non-negotiable in her next partnership. She says she is focused on “finding me again” and will not minimize herself or step away from the career she loves.
