We saw Good Kid at The Sylvee back in May and we were overdue for a chance to get to know them a little better! We talked about how they didn't expect music to become a career, the influence of bands like Gorillaz and Slipknot, and why now was the right time to release a full length album! Plus, why they don't adhere to a typical album cycle, how they collaborate with many different artists to make their art a full experience, and why they love it when creators use their art to make something of their own.

We talked to music school teacher turned full-time musician Jon Wiild about how he became the owner of the school he was once a student at, how a song just comes to be, and the mix-tape mashup of influences common in certain generations! We also talk about the Green Bay Packers, fostering senior dogs, and what songs he won't dance to at his own wedding!
