In 2004, a heartfelt song called "Ganda ng Buhay" was written by Rene Tinapay. It tells a personal story about finding love again after a failed marriage. Originally recorded on a cassette recorder, the song was later revived in 2010 with the help of a keyboard player. In 2021, a friend, Marioine Rey Siega added his talents, transforming the song with lead and bass guitar, and beautiful harmonies. "Ganda ng Buhay" is a reminder of the beauty that comes from finding love and happiness in new beginnings.

- Born in Manila, but lived in Sydney, Melbourne and mostly Adelaide growing up.
- Started volunteering for Filipino community radio since 2001 at 5EBI.
-Currently serving as President of the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters' Council and as Chairman of 5EBI.
- Professional career in public policy and advocacy. 
- Prior experience in almost 10 years as a policy advisor to the South Australian Government  in various portfolios such as Defence Industries, Trade, Tourism and Investment, Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
