- Born in Manila, but lived in Sydney, Melbourne and mostly Adelaide growing up.
- Started volunteering for Filipino community radio since 2001 at 5EBI.
-Currently serving as President of the National Ethnic and Multicultural Broadcasters' Council and as Chairman of 5EBI.
- Professional career in public policy and advocacy. 
- Prior experience in almost 10 years as a policy advisor to the South Australian Government  in various portfolios such as Defence Industries, Trade, Tourism and Investment, Health, Mental Health and Substance Abuse.
