Diana de Borja- Blooming Tales Sydney

Design Talk guest was super gracious to have agreed to be interviewed despite being sleep deprived, giving birth to a gorgeous boy almost 4 weeks ago. If you listen closely, you can hear him participate in our conversation.

Diana de Borja was born in the Philippines, her Dad from Manila, while Mum from Batangas. Her family migrated to Australia in 1995, grew up in Lane Cove, and currently living in West Ryde. She finished Bachelor of Interior Architecture at UNSW, interned at design studios but found the pace slow and often don't see her designs built, so she shifted instead in the area of construction and property development . Diana currently works in property development, she is also halfway through her Masters in Property Development.

Few years ago, Diana attended a terrarium workshop, it was after attending this plus wishing to have a creative outlet that she started her side business providing terrarium workshops with wine, for corporate clients during lunch breaks and selling everlasting (dried/preserved) flower arrangements at cafes she collaborates with. She plans to continue her creative side business, Blooming Tales Sydney, after her maternity leave.
