DANTE SA - Marcello Costa Memorial Scholarship with Dr Anna Henwood

Stefano had the pleasure of interviewing Professor Emilio Nuzzolese, whose work brings together dentistry, humanitarian action and human rights. Professor Nuzzolese leads the Human Identification and Forensic Odontology Research Laboratory at the University of Turin and is a cofounder of SOPHI, an association helping disadvantaged communities access dental care.

His work supports vulnerable people, from children and people with disabilities to those experiencing homelessness, and helps identify individuals through forensic dentistry.

It was a privilege to hear about his commitment to using science and dental care to make a difference in people’s lives. A heartfelt thank you to Maria and Nino from the Northern Community Health and Research Foundation for helping make this opportunity possible.
