Shortly after Trump’s new press secretary made news by revealing the President asked Kimberly Guilfoyle to resign her position as U.S. Ambassador to Greece, Guilfoyle kinda sorta made a resignation announcement on X. The former ambassador didn’t use the word “resign”, but instead acknowledged that her “time as Ambassador may be coming to an end.”  Guilfoyle also addressed “the recent allegations” against her, calling them false, saying she intends to vigorously defend her name.  Meantime the Trump donor who Guilfoyle allegedly begged to pay her American Express bill is making the media rounds, saying he intends to sue Guilfoyle for defamation in the coming days.

This is the first time Governor Ron DeSantis has ever canceled a planned execution in his nearly 8 years in office. While DeSantis did not officially give a reason for the stay of William Lee Thompson’s execution, an anti death penalty group describes Thompson as “gravely ill, has dementia” and requires complete assistance for basic activities. Thompson has spent nearly 5 years on death row for the heinous and brutal beating death of 23-year-old Sally Iverson, but according to reports, the 74-year-old lacks the mental capacity to understand his situation and the reason why he’s on death row.

The details of this crime are horrific, with police describing a scene too gruesome to fully reveal. Video and audio evidence points to the man killing his 1 and 5 year old grandchildren, then four other family members on the stairwell, before being killing two women who were pounding on the front door and then ultimately himself. Officials are trying to determine motive, with neighbors and friends expressing disbelief, in this latest in a string of familicides in this country this year.

The small business says it’s been attacked by millions, but Clarkson herself is now facing backlash, some calling her an “entitled brat.”
