Did the 49ers look fresher despite not being 100% healthy? Plus, Jake remembers what happened  on this day 25 years ago in New York City.

(24:14-38:24) – The IndyStar’s Kyle Neddenriep joins Jake Query on a Football Friday to preview tonight’s slate of high school football games starting with Brownsburg vs Avon being the game he will be attending. Jake asks Kyle for his opinion on how explosive Brownsburg’s offense is and wonder if there will be a team out there that can slow them down. Lastly, Kyle pinpoints Beech Grove as a team that has been way better than expecting and the community coming together three days after 9/11 when he was covering a high school football game.

(38:24-44:05) – Jake Query concludes the first hour of the show by discussing the decision by the Los Angeles Rams with producer Eddie Garrison to fly over to Australia the day before facing the San Francisco 49ers.  

(44:05-1:06:33) – Tom Dienhart from On3 joins Jake Query on a Football Friday to preview Purdue’s first test of the season against Wake Forest tomorrow afternoon. They touch on some things that stood out against Indiana State last week but acknowledge it is hard to evaluate a team versus an FCS school, believes that Purdue has depth at running back and wide receiver compared to last year, and evaluates Ryan Browne.

(1:25:38-1:46:54) – The final hour of Query & Company with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison previewing Sunday’s game for the Indianapolis Colts against the Baltimore Ravens. Jake questions how the defense is going to handle the dynamic duo between Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry. He goes back to Wednesday’s game between the Seahawks and Patriots when it comes to Anthony Richardson and Shane Steichen.  

(1:46:54-1:59:30) – The Fan Morning Show’s Kevin Bowen joins Query & Company to preview Sunday’s game between the Colts and Ravens. What are his expectations for Alec Pierce after missing most of training camp? Where does he see advantages for the Colts offense? How confident is Kevin in Jalen Travis facing Trey Hendrickson in two days? Lastly, they touch on which area of the team most intrigues him heading into the season.
