Justice Tati Makgoka was appointed as a Judge in the Supreme Court of Appeal in 2018, who also serves on the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) committee. With a wealth of experience under his robes, Justice Makgoka's contributions extend beyond the precincts of his courtroom. Notably, he has demonstrated his mettle on multiple occasions, having twice assumed the role of an acting judge at the esteemed Supreme Court of Appeal before he was officially appointed. He has also lent his judicial prowess to acting positions at the Labour Appeal Court and the Constitutional Division of the Lesotho High Court. His ascent to the Gauteng High Court bench in 2009 after having cultuivated his legal acumen since practicing as an attorney since 1994. In an ever-evolving legal landscape, Judge Tati Makgoka stands as an exemplar of erudition and versatility, enriching the tapestry of the legal profession with his multifaceted expertise.
