South Africa’s Minister of Employment and Labour has introduced a transformative series of proposed amendments to the nation's core industrial framework, specifically targeting the Basic Conditions of Employment Act, the Employment Equity Act, and the National Minimum Wage Act. These legislative shifts are designed to modernize existing labor laws, providing a much-needed update to ensure they reflect the realities of the contemporary workforce.
