Many countries across the world still battle tobacco addiction. The WHO reports that there are 1.25 billion adult tobacco users in the world. In South Africa, 29.4% of the population are tobacco users. A popular alternative to alleviating tobacco addiction is nicotine replacement products that people can use with cut down on their addiction and the urge of wanting to smoke. Products such as nicotine orals and patches are used to help people quit smoking.
