Retirement and the Two-Port Retirement System 

South Africa’s new Two-Pot Retirement System came into effect on 1 September 2024 and many South Africans are grappling with understanding how the new system works and its impact on their retirement plans.

To help South Africans to understand the new system the ASISA Foundation is running a 4-Week, educational radio campaign.   This campaign will engage audiences in discussions and activities to help them learn about the new system.

The campaign “Let’s Talk Two-Pot” aims to educate audiences about the importance of saving and investing with a specific focus on the Two-Pot Retirement System to enhance listeners’ understanding of retirement planning.
