For generations, the nuclear family - two parents raising their children together - was presented as the ideal family structure. But today, the way we think about relationships, marriage and parenthood is changing. We are joined by Relationship and Marriage life coach Lulama Mthembu and Transforming Life Speaker, Trevor Kamoto as we tackle why are we preparing for the relationship to fail before it has even had the chance to succeed? Is this a sign that people are becoming more realistic about relationships and recognising that circumstances can change? Or does it suggest that we have become so accustomed to relationships breaking down that we no longer see the traditional family structure as something worth aspiring to?
