It all started on 31 July 2025, when the Rhulani Mabasa Children’s Foundation launched a mobile library programme with a heart-felt mission; to build brighter futures by bringing books directly to our children. This isn’t just a van with shelves… it’s a rolling gateway to imagination, learning, and opportunity. In communities where access to books and libraries can be scarce, these mobile libraries are transforming early childhood development by making reading fun, accessible and part of everyday life. We speak to the Founder of The Rhulani Mabasa Children’s Foundation, Rhulani Mabasa.
