South Africa’s waste crisis continues to put pressure on communities, landfill sites and the environment, but addressing the problem may require more than government policy and recycling infrastructure,  it may require a change in how communities think about and manage waste every day. Our feel good story for today focuses on an initiative that is bringing recycling education directly into church communities, equipping congregations with the knowledge, tools and infrastructure to separate recyclable materials at source and connect them to established recycling value chains.
