A collective indulgence we swear is harmless …. until time passes, perspective shifts, and hindsight taps us on the shoulder and asks us to look again. For some generations, it was smoking - normalised, glamorised, even encouraged. For others, it was excessive drinking, hustle culture, or living off fast food and late nights.
