Hassen Lorgat from the Bench Marks Foundation speaks to host of POWER Week Chris Vick on his concerns of media junkets organized by the SA Jewish Board of Deputies to Israel. Lorgat states more concerningly that the stories covered by the journalists who went on the trip, many of them who wrote positively, failed to indicate that they were sponsored by the Jewish Board of Deputies. This has raised concerns about a possible violation of the Press Council’s Code of Ethics and Conduct for South African Print and Online Media.
