With President Cyril Ramaphosa’s 21-day spaza shop registration process deadline fast approaching, the Gauteng government says it will embark on a process to determine those who qualify to own spaza shops. The deadline is five pm on Tuesday. Acting Gauteng Premier, Lebogang Maile has briefed members of the media on their plans in Johannesburg. Maile says they have come across challenges and also successes during the registration process.
